I love a home that feels lived in: something cooking, music playing, and a comfortable place to sit. I usually cook with music on and tidy up a little as I go, although baking can undo all my good intentions. I like slowing down enough to enjoy small routines, from setting the table to making the first cup of the morning. A warm manner and a little patience mean a great deal to me.
