I enjoy the kind of day that starts with one plan and ends with a few good discoveries. I often remember a place because of the conversation I had there as much as the food. I tend to notice the small touches that make a place feel comfortable, from friendly service to a quiet table. Good conversation is the part of any meal that I am most likely to remember.
