I can lose track of time in a library, especially when I find a shelf I have never explored before. I am just as interested in the story behind a favourite object as I am in the object itself. I keep a short reading list, although an unexpected recommendation often changes it. A curious mind and a considerate manner make a lovely first impression on me.
