I enjoy days that begin with comfortable shoes and a loose idea of somewhere to explore. I would choose a picnic with a pleasant view over a timetable packed from morning to evening. I would rather choose a route that suits everyone than hurry to cover a particular distance. For me, good company matters more than reaching the perfect destination.
