I enjoy places where there is something to notice, from a thoughtful display to a familiar tune played differently. I enjoy discovering work by people I haven't heard of before and going back to things I loved years ago. A free afternoon might include an exhibition, a browse through a record shop, or a film I have been meaning to see. For me, a good discovery becomes even better when there is someone to talk about it with.
