A small exhibition or an evening of live music can give me plenty to think and talk about afterwards. I like hearing what other people notice in a film or a painting, even when their view is completely different from mine. A creative afternoon at home can be just as pleasant as going out to a performance. Shared taste is lovely, but I also enjoy learning what makes someone different from me.
