I'm happy learning a new recipe, putting together a meal, or spending a quiet evening with a good film. I appreciate practical kindness, like offering to help or remembering how someone takes their tea. Trying something new is more enjoyable when there is room to laugh if it does not turn out as expected. I think thoughtfulness shows up most clearly in everyday habits.
