I spend enough time indoors during the week, so getting outside is usually my first plan for the weekend. I would choose a picnic with a pleasant view over a timetable packed from morning to evening. If the weather is kind, I like starting the day with a short walk before everything gets busy. A shared sense of wonder can make a very ordinary walk memorable.
