A relaxed evening with a homemade meal is often exactly what I have been looking forward to. I usually cook with music on and tidy up a little as I go, although baking can undo all my good intentions. An evening can be as simple as cooking together and deciding on a film once everything is ready. For me, comfort comes from feeling welcome rather than from having everything arranged perfectly.
