My idea of a pleasant detour often involves a small bookshop and a place to sit with a coffee. I like people who can disagree kindly and stay interested in another point of view. A rainy day is a good excuse to make tea and finally open the book I have been saving. I'd rather leave room for a good conversation than fill every silence.
