My favourite plans often involve a kitchen, a long conversation, and no reason to check the time. I like using what is in season and finding a good reason to revisit an ingredient I have overlooked. I like slowing down enough to enjoy small routines, from setting the table to making the first cup of the morning. The evenings I remember fondly are often the ones that felt simple at the time.
