My favourite plans often involve a kitchen, a long conversation, and no reason to check the time. I have a few dependable recipes, but I am always interested in a new idea that does not make the evening complicated. I like slowing down enough to enjoy small routines, from setting the table to making the first cup of the morning. I don't confuse a quiet life with a dull one; there are plenty of things to enjoy without rushing.
