I'm happy learning a new recipe, putting together a meal, or spending a quiet evening with a good film. A welcoming table, an easy conversation, and something simple to share are usually enough for me. I usually choose recipes that leave time for conversation rather than keeping me busy until the last moment. I don't confuse a quiet life with a dull one; there are plenty of things to enjoy without rushing.
