I am drawn to stories that give me something to think about after the last page. There is usually a notebook nearby for a thought, a book title, or a sentence I want to remember. My evenings are often simple: a warm drink, a few pages, and a little music in the background. I appreciate company that leaves room for both conversation and comfortable pauses.
