I like having a few creative interests that I can enjoy without needing to be especially good at them. Some evenings are for going out to hear something live; others are for cooking at home with an album playing from start to finish. I do not need to understand everything immediately to enjoy spending time with something unfamiliar. I'm happiest when there's room to be sincere, a little playful, and entirely myself.
