I'm drawn to places with a bit of character, whether that's a little cinema or a room with a piano in the corner. I like hearing what other people notice in a film or a painting, even when their view is completely different from mine. I do not need to understand everything immediately to enjoy spending time with something unfamiliar. Shared taste is lovely, but I also enjoy learning what makes someone different from me.
