A good book and a quiet corner can turn an ordinary afternoon into my favourite part of the week. There is usually a notebook nearby for a thought, a book title, or a sentence I want to remember. I usually remember a thoughtful conversation long after I have forgotten what was on the menu. I appreciate people who can be thoughtful without taking themselves too seriously.
