I like exploring a place through its food, its small streets, and the places people recommend without making a fuss. I enjoy comparing notes on favourite dishes rather than pretending there is one perfect place for everyone. A good recommendation from a friend can be enough to give my afternoon a new direction. I make plans because I enjoy them, not because every free hour needs to be filled.
