I enjoy the kind of day that starts with one plan and ends with a few good discoveries. I can happily spend an afternoon walking without a destination, especially if there's somewhere good to stop for lunch. A good recommendation from a friend can be enough to give my afternoon a new direction. Good conversation is the part of any meal that I am most likely to remember.
