I'm drawn to places with a bit of character, whether that's a little cinema or a room with a piano in the corner. I like a setting where the atmosphere is lively but there is still a chance to have a proper conversation. A free afternoon might include an exhibition, a browse through a record shop, or a film I have been meaning to see. Shared taste is lovely, but I also enjoy learning what makes someone different from me.
