My favourite plans often involve a kitchen, a long conversation, and no reason to check the time. I like using what is in season and finding a good reason to revisit an ingredient I have overlooked. I enjoy taking a familiar dish and making a small change with a different herb or a new ingredient. I appreciate a little effort, a sincere thank-you, and the ability to laugh when something doesn't go to plan.
