Some of my best days have started with a simple decision to take the longer way home. I always pack more snacks than necessary, and I think a warm drink tastes better after a few hours outside. I keep my plans flexible enough to stop for a view or spend longer in a place I like. I appreciate a steady pace, an open mind, and people who look after each other.
