An afternoon exploring a neighbourhood is often my favourite excuse to try somewhere new for lunch. I tend to remember a place by what I ate there, who I was with, and the conversation on the way home. I am happy with a simple meal when it is made with care and there is no rush to move on. For me, a memorable outing does not need to be elaborate; it needs to feel comfortable.
