I enjoy simple routines, especially when there's room in them for something homemade. I enjoy having people around a table, but I also value an evening with nowhere to be. Trying something new is more enjoyable when there is room to laugh if it does not turn out as expected. I appreciate people who notice the effort behind a small kindness and offer their own in return.
