Cooking is how I slow down after a busy day. I usually cook with music on and tidy up a little as I go, although baking can undo all my good intentions. A thoughtful meal does not need to be complicated; sometimes the best choice is something familiar made well. I like company that makes an ordinary evening feel easy to enjoy.
