I am happiest on a walk that has a good view, a gentle pace, and someone interesting beside me. A change of scenery helps me think clearly, even when it's only a short trip beyond my usual routine. I keep my plans flexible enough to stop for a view or spend longer in a place I like. A shared sense of wonder can make a very ordinary walk memorable.
