My favourite plans often involve a kitchen, a long conversation, and no reason to check the time. I like using what is in season and finding a good reason to revisit an ingredient I have overlooked. I like an evening that leaves everyone feeling welcome, with no pressure to make it a special occasion. A warm manner and a little patience mean a great deal to me.
