I have a growing collection of playlists and a habit of remembering where I first heard a song. I enjoy looking closely at ordinary things, especially when someone points out a detail I would have missed. A free afternoon might include an exhibition, a browse through a record shop, or a film I have been meaning to see. A little imagination and a willingness to listen make conversation much more interesting.
