I enjoy finding places that feel welcoming, whether they are well known or easy to walk past. I tend to remember a place by what I ate there, who I was with, and the conversation on the way home. A good recommendation from a friend can be enough to give my afternoon a new direction. I make plans because I enjoy them, not because every free hour needs to be filled.
