I get a lot of pleasure from small things done with care. I enjoy the process of preparing a meal as much as sitting down to eat it. On a quiet afternoon, I might make a batch of soup, try a new bake, or tidy a favourite corner. I appreciate people who notice the effort behind a small kindness and offer their own in return.
