I am happiest with plans that leave enough time to cook, talk, and enjoy being in the same place. I like using what is in season and finding a good reason to revisit an ingredient I have overlooked. Trying something new is more enjoyable when there is room to laugh if it does not turn out as expected. I like an easy atmosphere where nobody needs to put on a performance.
