I'm happy learning a new recipe, putting together a meal, or spending a quiet evening with a good film. I like using what is in season and finding a good reason to revisit an ingredient I have overlooked. I like slowing down enough to enjoy small routines, from setting the table to making the first cup of the morning. The evenings I remember fondly are often the ones that felt simple at the time.
