I like getting to know a place through its small cafes, busy markets, and the things people recommend. A welcoming atmosphere and the chance to hear each other talk matter more to me than an impressive setting. A good recommendation from a friend can be enough to give my afternoon a new direction. Good conversation is the part of any meal that I am most likely to remember.
