I can lose track of time in a library, especially when I find a shelf I have never explored before. There is usually a notebook nearby for a thought, a book title, or a sentence I want to remember. I usually remember a thoughtful conversation long after I have forgotten what was on the menu. The people I enjoy most make ordinary moments feel worth paying attention to.
