I'm curious by nature and usually have a new café or an unfamiliar neighbourhood on my list. I enjoy comparing notes on favourite dishes rather than pretending there is one perfect place for everyone. If the day has been busy, an easy dinner and a chance to talk are usually more appealing than a big event. For me, a memorable outing does not need to be elaborate; it needs to feel comfortable.
