I'm happy learning a new recipe, putting together a meal, or spending a quiet evening with a good film. A trip to the market can inspire a whole evening, and I rarely follow a recipe without changing at least one thing. I like slowing down enough to enjoy small routines, from setting the table to making the first cup of the morning. I appreciate a little effort, a sincere thank-you, and the ability to laugh when something doesn't go to plan.
