I like the kind of day where a good conversation turns a quick coffee into a much longer stop. I'm always interested in the story behind a family recipe or a place someone has loved for years. I like leaving a little room in the plan for a pastry, a second coffee, or a place we happen to discover. I appreciate people who are open to a suggestion and comfortable making one of their own.
