I love a home that feels lived in: something cooking, music playing, and a comfortable place to sit. I usually cook with music on and tidy up a little as I go, although baking can undo all my good intentions. I am happy to share the kitchen, especially with someone who enjoys the process and does not mind a little mess. I appreciate a little effort, a sincere thank-you, and the ability to laugh when something doesn't go to plan.
