I'm much more interested in finding a new walking route than keeping track of the latest trends. I am usually the one who suggests a short detour when a lane or a footpath looks inviting. A flask of something warm and an extra layer are often all I need for a simple afternoon out. A shared sense of wonder can make a very ordinary walk memorable.
