I am happiest on a walk that has a good view, a gentle pace, and someone interesting beside me. I would choose a picnic with a pleasant view over a timetable packed from morning to evening. A flask of something warm and an extra layer are often all I need for a simple afternoon out. I'm practical about the details and relaxed about the things that don't really matter.
