I like getting to know a place through its small cafes, busy markets, and the things people recommend. I often remember a place because of the conversation I had there as much as the food. If the day has been busy, an easy dinner and a chance to talk are usually more appealing than a big event. I prefer honest opinions and an easy conversation to trying to impress anyone.
