My favourite plans often involve a kitchen, a long conversation, and no reason to check the time. I have a few dependable recipes, but I am always interested in a new idea that does not make the evening complicated. I am quite happy changing the plan when a recipe needs adjusting or an ingredient is missing. The evenings I remember fondly are often the ones that felt simple at the time.
