A good book and a quiet corner can turn an ordinary afternoon into my favourite part of the week. I read a mixture of novels, essays, and whatever catches my attention on a second-hand shelf. A thoughtful message can make my day, especially when it refers to something we talked about before. The people I enjoy most make ordinary moments feel worth paying attention to.
