I enjoy places where there is something to notice, from a thoughtful display to a familiar tune played differently. I often keep a note of a line from a book, the name of a musician, or a place I'd like to visit again. Small venues and relaxed settings often make it easier for me to settle into the experience. For me, a good discovery becomes even better when there is someone to talk about it with.
