I can lose track of time in a library, especially when I find a shelf I have never explored before. There is usually a notebook nearby for a thought, a book title, or a sentence I want to remember. On a free morning, I might read a few chapters before deciding where the rest of the day should go. I'd rather leave room for a good conversation than fill every silence.
