A relaxed evening with a homemade meal is often exactly what I have been looking forward to. I appreciate practical kindness, like offering to help or remembering how someone takes their tea. I enjoy taking a familiar dish and making a small change with a different herb or a new ingredient. I appreciate people who notice the effort behind a small kindness and offer their own in return.
