An afternoon exploring a neighbourhood is often my favourite excuse to try somewhere new for lunch. I tend to remember a place by what I ate there, who I was with, and the conversation on the way home. If the day has been busy, an easy dinner and a chance to talk are usually more appealing than a big event. I like discovering new things while keeping a few familiar favourites close by.
