My favourite plans often involve a kitchen, a long conversation, and no reason to check the time. A trip to the market can inspire a whole evening, and I rarely follow a recipe without changing at least one thing. On a quiet afternoon, I might make a batch of soup, try a new bake, or tidy a favourite corner. I like company that makes an ordinary evening feel easy to enjoy.
