Some of my best days have started with a simple decision to take the longer way home. I would choose a picnic with a pleasant view over a timetable packed from morning to evening. I would rather choose a route that suits everyone than hurry to cover a particular distance. Good company and a little flexibility matter more to me than a perfect plan.
