I spend enough time indoors during the week, so getting outside is usually my first plan for the weekend. I always pack more snacks than necessary, and I think a warm drink tastes better after a few hours outside. A flask of something warm and an extra layer are often all I need for a simple afternoon out. I like making room for small adventures without turning everything into a competition.
